Payment for Goods

Rapid Spill Control Pty Ltd accepts payment in the following forms:

Goods will not be shipped until either payment is received (funds fully cleared) OR formal Credit Account is established.

Freight charges are applicable in addition to cost of goods (see below).

Shipping Methods & Charges

Rapid Spill Control Pty Ltd has established TNT Road Express as our preferred carrier. Our online store will estimate the likely freight charges based on weight/volume and destination of your order. Should the actual freight costs vary significantly from the online estimate we will contact you to advise and seek your instruction.

You may choose to arrange your own carrier to pick up your order.  Do so by selecting this option at the online checkout section. We will not charge you for freight or handling in this case and will notify you when goods are ready for pick up.

Warranty of Goods

Rapid Spill Control Pty Ltd is committed to the protection of the environment and endeavours to provide the most appropriate and effective environment protection products available. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure compatibility of products supplied by Rapid Spill Control and the substances they are using on their site. Since Rapid Spill Control has no control over the installation, maintenance and/or application of these products they carry no warranty express or implied.

Returns and Claims

If any product supplied by Rapid Spill Control Pty Ltd is proved to be defective upon receipt of goods, contact Rapid Spill Control immediately. Defective goods will be replaced or a credit note issued. Prior approval must be obtained from Rapid Spill Control before returning goods. Any claim for incorrect shipment, faulty or damaged goods on delivery, must be made within two working days of receipt of goods. Goods returned must be in their original packaging.

Privacy Statement

Rapid Spill Control Pty Ltd is required to comply with the 10 National Privacy Principles (the NPPs), as set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (amended by the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000.

In order to comply with these obligations under the NPPs, Rapid Spill Control has a Privacy Policy, which sets out how we manage the privacy of information.

Rapid Spill Control Pty Ltd will attempt to keep customer and individuals’ files complete, up to date and accurate. Customers are entitled to edit or delete information previously supplied to us, unless we are required by law to retain it. Storage
Rapid Spill Control Pty Ltd will take all reasonable steps to protect the security of the information that is held. This includes appropriate measures to protect electronic materials and materials stored and generated in hard copy.

Access to personal information
Rapid Spill Control Pty Ltd will permit only authorised employees, who are trained in the proper handling of customer information, to have access to personal information. Employees who violate the Privacy Policy will be subject to Rapid Spill Control’s standard disciplinary procedures.

Identifiers
Rapid Spill Control Pty Ltd does not and will not use a Commonwealth Government identifier (such as tax file numbers, driver’s licence numbers) as a method of identifying an individual or business.

Anonymity
Rapid Spill Control Pty Ltd respects privacy and if it is requested that Rapid Spill Control is not to use or disclose personal information in a particular manner or at all, this will be observed, but if this information is not provided, Rapid Spill Control Pty Ltd may be unable to conduct business with an individual or company in an efficient and productive manner.
